The weekend of May 1-3 coincides with Brewster in Bloom, during which time there will be many other events planned in town (https://brewster-capecod.com/…) including the unveiling of Nellie's Dollhouse – a replica of a home still standing in Brewster, built by Ellen's great grandfather, Josiah Nickerson Knowles – as part of the Brewster Historical Society's open house at The Cobb House (739 Lower Road) on Saturday, May 2nd from 1-4.

In addition to repairing and displaying the dollhouse, The Brewster Historical Society has created The Ellen St. Sure Collection to compile, preserve and digitize Ellen's extensive research as the Town Archivist over the past two decades. In lieu of flowers, donation to support the digitizing of her research can be made through the donation link on this website.
