Background
The Brewster Historical Society has created the Ellen St. Sure Collection, which includes: Nellie’s Dollhouse, built by her great grandfather Josiah Nickerson Knowles; Ellen's library of books about local history; catalogues of the G.H. Ballou exhibit which Ellen researched and curated; and her many files of research and writing as the Town Archivist over the past few decades. To further fulfill Ellen’s vision and ambition as a historian, your donations to The Brewster Historical Society will support the work of digitizing her research about Brewster houses, people, and gravesites, so that anyone can access these materials on line.
