Elizabeth Carol Shank, 85, of Albemarle, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center. Carol was born on April 28, 1939, in Union County to the late Lonnie Winfred James and the late Lila Newsome James. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Carleson Shank, and her sister Brenda Foster (Carroll).
