Elizabeth “Betty” Anne Campbell, 86, passed away on September 29th, 2022 in San Francisco.
Betty was born in Covington, Kentucky to Leo and Josephine Schmitt. Her older siblings were George and Mary Lee. Josephine did not survive the childbirth and at 6 months old Betty and her siblings were sent to be raised at the St. John’s Orphanage by the Benedictine nuns.
Betty had many fond memories assisting the sisters with their duties. It was …
