Eleanor Shoop of East Lyme, CT passed away Saturday April 3, 2021 with her family by her side. Born on January 21, 1925 in Elizabeth, NJ. Eleanor lived a long and rich life. She grew up during the Great Depression and met her husband Elvin Shoop during WWII at Miami University in Ohio where she was studying to become a chemist and Elvin was attending officer training. They were married in Greenwich, CT in 1947. …
