Elbert Leroy Hopkins, 72, passed away peacefully at home, on June 30, 2020, in Rumford, Maine.
Born in Rumford, Maine he was the son of George Bertrand Sr & Bessie Marion (Libby) Hopkins.
He served as Infantryman, Private E-1 in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1968 with 10 months overseas. He received the Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Bronze Service Star and the Republic of Vietnam Service Medal.
