So sweet! I read your story in chicken soup for the soul… What I learned from my cat… I love that you referenced to this website in the story and I’m happy to have made a visit! Sorry for the loss of such a wonderful creature, and so thrilled that he was able to bring so much joy and community to your lives!

Sincerely,

Kristie from Kansas…

In lieu of flowers

In lieu of flowers, consider a gift to Best Friends Animal Society.
I met Eeyore, when he started…
2019
I met Eeyore, when he started bringing my Mom(Sally) flowers. He would drop them outside her door, and meow until she came and opened the door.
Oh the things that cat "borrowed "
Bee Keepers glove, left of course. Welders glove, left glove....
As he got older, and less inclined to travel, he started to bring my Mom oven mitts from her kitchen.
As much as my Mom loved that cat, he was a brother to myself, and my other two brothers when we came to visit Mom , he would leave, and a bit later,, show up with some sort of offering, it might be a glove, a sock, a banana peel , but he always greeted us with something.
When I called Mom, she would sometimes hold the phone to him,so I could say hello to him.
The coolest, most personable cat I ever had the pleasure of knowing .
I am sad, knowing I won't get that special meow, when I arrive.
