Mr. Heath Boney, age 35, of Higgston, died Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Memorial Health in Savannah. He was a native of Vidalia and later moved to Cobbtown. He was a 2006 graduate of Tattnall County High School and has lived in Higgston for the past several years. He currently was working at Savannah Luggage Works, and previously worked at Plant Jackson and with his father at Four Rivers Pest Control. Heath was an avid saltwater fisherman, and he enjoyed fishing at the river, boating, working on his truck, and watching YouTube videos about hotrods. Heath had a unique sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his brother, Matt Boney; maternal grandparents, Jack and Reba Cowart; and paternal grandfather, Charles Edwin Boney.

His family includes his parents, Christy Cowart Collins of Vidalia, and Ronnie Boney of Vidalia and Donna Farmer of Rincon; paternal grandmother, Frances Seigler Kight of Macon; sister-in-law, Stephanie Willis Boney of Vidalia; niece and nephews, Athens Boney, Hannah Holloway and Ezra Foskey; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home chapel on Saturday morning, December 23rd, from 10:00 until just prior to the funeral service at 11:00. Pastor Stephen Keen, Hank Steverson, and Craig George will officiate.
