Edward's obituary

Edward (aka "Eddie" and "Murphy") passed away on September 13, 2019 in Orlando FL.   ... At his request he was cremated.   Although difficult for his daughter as his only living child, she lived halfway across the country, she honored his request made to her and it took considerable time to do so given the distance .  He wanted no fanfare or fancy arrangements.   He wasn't like that.   All he wanted was to make sure his daughter received his favorite jean jacket and his remaining belongings of personal significance to her.    He wanted her to be happy and honor his life he shared with her and to always remember what he and her mom taught her as a young child:  that she was special, as she was chosen because she was adopted.  He will be missed by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, his "other daughter" Tif, and his first wife Pauline; and countless other close friends such as John C and a bunch of nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers and aunts and uncles.   He was predeceased by his Shaun who he also loved with all of his heart.   And we can't forget his close friends David and Rita Getland--he fondly referred to Dave as his dad.
