Sleep in peace aunty Edmee. I will always remember how you and uncle Reggie took Tony and me to the oval to see cricket. But the only thing I was interested in was the food in the basket, I can't even remember who was playing in the match. (Lol) I will always remember too our scrabble games together, which you always won. You were always cheerful and made us laugh with all your jokes. You loved pan music just as much as me. I would miss your phone calls when you would call to say how you were thinking of me everytime you heard a pan tune on the radio. Thank you for your love. I know mummy will be glad to have you with her, and uncle Reggie too. See you on the other side.

To Andrae and all of your siblings. My experience with your mom though short, has left a lasting impression on me. I will never forget when you and Ms. Edmee came to visit my father in the nursing home. Your Mom was having a conversation with my Dad. All of a sudden her voice changed to a rythmic expression of words; creating a playful story....a poem. I was truly caught by surprise; intrigued by her artistry. Thank you for sharing your Mom with us. Never to be forgotten.

MEMORY OF EDMEE ANGELA JOSEPH (Binks) On behalf of my brothers Jawara (Keith) Mobota and Ruthven Adams, we remember as children, our cousin Edmee (Binks) taking us every Sunday afternoon to Sunday School and outings. Communication was lost for many years after the passing of our dad, Gordon Adams. What a surprise when I learned recently that my cousin was living in my neighborhood. What a reunion, with weekly chats of old times, updates on family members, lots of laughter, we all know that Edmee was a comedian, and boy did she love her music, steel band and iron. It was a pleasure to be in touch again after so many years. Edmee is now being greeted by all our loved ones who have already passed on. May her soul rest in peace.

How do you make Holy Water?
Moms would tell this joke all the time and I would laugh at it every time as though it was new, like she never told it before.
Thank you Moms for the laughter and support too. A laughter that was infectious a support that was genuine.
Gone but never forgotten.
The response to your question/riddle/joke?
You boil the hell out of it. Lol

My condolences to Edmee's family. I first met Momma Edmee when Andre and I began to work on his Carnival group in the Bahamas and would often get calls from her checking on me and updating me on how Andre was behaving. She made me feel special every-time she called me son. I miss our moments of sitting and telling me the same joke over and over again and me pretending that I had never heard it before. Sleep in peace mom.
