Editha's obituary
Obituary for Editha T. Nazareno April 26, 1944 - March 21, 2026
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Editha Tolentino Nazareno on March 21, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Editha was 81 years young and passed peacefully at home surrounded by her husband Ernesto, and her loving sons, Elmer, Ermin, Ernie, and Elvin. She lived a life rooted in deep faith in God, marked by quiet strength and dedication to her family.
Editha was born on April 26, 1944, in Naic, Cavite, and grew up in Tanauan, Batangas. She graduated from Mapua University in the Philippines with a degree in Chemical Engineering and went on to work as a chemist for several pharmaceutical companies in the Bay Area.
To her family, she was lovingly known as “Nanay” to her grandkids or “Moms” to her sons. She was the heart of our family: steadfast, nurturing, and full of unconditional love. She helped raise nine grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply. Her greatest love was being surrounded by her sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren, creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and love. She enjoyed traveling with her big, close-knit family.
