Mummy, the last time we saw in church, you were sickly but encouraged me to be strong that the battles of the last few years will pass. I remember your warm hugs and calls filled with laughter. Always had a word here or a smile there. You will surely be missed and we will meet on the other side.

Mummy, I had planned to return to Nigeria this year to see you and daddy again but the Lord had a different plan. When I moved the Lagos with my brothers you made sure I was doing okay. Ensured I was not overworked by my big brothers because I am the youngest one in the house.
I remember your signature rice with stew and plantain, you brought me a plate every Sunday and made sure I shared with no one. It felt like home mummy.
Your absence on this side of eternity is indeed a very painful one, a void no one will be able to fill. The church Pastor Simeon, your boys, and of course the extended families you stringed along.
Death, I am glad you have been judged already, grave your time is at hand, and sickness you have been swallowed up in victory.
We take solace in Isaiah 57:1-2. Soon we see to part no more.
Rest on though virtuous woman! 💔

So sad. May her soul rest in peace. She brought a lot of hope and smile to us when she was the matron in charge and whenever l was privileged to chat with her in retirement. May God almighty uphold the family she left.
