Dr. Rasiklal "Rasikbhai" Patel was born on September 11, 1945 in Deesa, Gujarat, India, son to Hira and Ambalal Patel. He grew up with his 8 siblings, Dinesh, Chandrakant, Kailas, Vinu, Premila, Mina, Nayana and Alka. After attending Saurashtra University, Rasikbhai pursued a doctoral degree an MBBS at M.P.
