Dr. Jose Behar, 86, passed away on July 20th, 2020 while at his home in Parkland, Florida.
Jose, also affectionately known as Poppy, had a wonderful and fulfilling life. He was born on August 11th, 1934 in Lima, Peru where he grew up. He attended college at San Andres Anglo Peruano followed by the National University of San Marcos. Here he received his medical degree, specializing in Gastroenterology.
