Don dedicated his career to education, research, and community development. His passion was teaching others to think beyond existing frameworks and challenge societal norms. He strongly believed in the transformative power of education and encouraged the pursuit of ambitious dreams. This memorial scholarship has been established to honor and sustain Don's lifelong commitment to educating University of Minnesota students, inspiring minds, and fostering innovation.
