Dr. Blas E. Prieto went home to Jesus on March 3rd, 2022 at age 91. Blas was born to on February 22, 1931 in Cienfuegos, Cuba. As a child, Blas was a gifted student while also having a passion for the game of baseball. Blas met his wife, Mirtha, in Cienfuegos while he was completing medical school at the University of Havana. They married in 1961 and were able to leave Cuba in 1963. …
