Doug‘s legacy on the Java project lives on. I loved working with him. He was smart and humble and so helpful. Doug, we will miss you.

I am so sorry for his passing but so grateful that he had a lovely life with his beloved wife and children.  Doug was a dear friend who will always hold a very special place in my heart.  He was so very kind, gentle and talented.  I am so grateful to his daughter for arranging a phone call with him this past year.  My love and hugs to all of Doug's beloveds.  His memory will forever be a blessing.
