Doug was such a loving caring…

Doug was such a loving caring brother I first started talking to him on Instagram where he told me he would love to meet me one day and hope to see him perform. It wasn't till 2015 when I finally got to meet and talk to him from there we ended up keeping in contact. He would tell me how proud he was of me that I kept following my dream of doing art and one day I could design a cover for him and his band . He always believed in me. I'm not gonna lie I looked up to him as a father figure even though he didnt know it he was part of the motivation I had and the reason why I also pushed myself and finished school. I even got my grad cap done with one of my favorite songs/lyrics. And he told me he wrote that within the span of 5 minutes and at a rough time of his life but it can mean something greater to me and that he was proud that I did it. He always told me I was always welcomed as well to any show I just had to show up and he would take care of me and one day I would be able to sing on stage with him. He made sure that happened and that was a memorable moment/night I still never forget it. I will never forget all our little conversations we had doug from talking about tour stories to how our days going. I'm gonna miss you bud I will be sure to carry on the love and kindness you gave us all. You're will be missed love you and miss you — with Doug & Alex
