I said a prayer for you mom and shared your memory at our virtual church service on Sunday. We all miss you so much and think about you every day. I’m so happy you have been reunited with dad. May you Rest In Peace together always.
Your friends at Loving Covers send their thoughts and prayers to you and your family. May your beautiful memories of your mother help lessen the sadness you must feel. May the Lord bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
I remember visiting the Gunderson's home , while I was tagging along with my folks. It seemed like we would just drop in occasionally and visit . Doris was always very warm and friendly and paid special attention to us kids to make us feel at home . She was a special person . We love here and miss her .
I am so very saddened by the passing of Mrs. G. To My dear friend Steve and all of the Gundersen family, my deepest and most sincere condolences. Your mom was always smiling and I am sure she will be missed. God bless.
Jamie and I were saddened to hear the news about Doris, and send our condolences to you, Glenn and the family. Years ago she was a founding member of our great trio of cousins with Margie Kurick. And I remember her well from family outings, and especially from our tennis matches. She was very good. Music was important to all of us, and she kindly gave me much of Eloises’s sheet music when she died. Doris will be missed. Warmly, Jerry and Jamie
Doris was a welcoming neighbor when I moved to DesPlaines in 1963 with a three year old son (Jim) & a new baby on the way(Eric). I found out that the Gundersens were members of Trinity Lutheran Church which we also joined. I was the recipient of dinner casseroles, welcome advice & there even was a babysitter in the Gundersen family(Ellen). I'll remember Doris as friendly, softspoken and a good friend. In the following years we had some good times in Dubuque, IA where I moved and Corpus Christi where they resided during retirement years & I was invited to visit. What great hosts Doris & Glenn were. from Mary Strom of Dubuque, IA
