Aunt Doris you are the mom I never had. I'm blessed to have been raised by you and Uncle Paul. We never had much but we had all your love. And that was more then enough.

You said when I got home from California we would look through some pictures together. If I would have contacted you 2 months earlier we would have done so.

There is no doubt in my mind you are in heaven with Uncle Paul. Your spirit remains with me always. You always had so much love for me. I will remain your daughter to infinity. I love you so much more then the words I write. Rip. Forever your daughter and niece  Shelly day.. aka puff wheat...

My memories were sitting and having conversations with her for the last couple months were so much fun I enjoyed our family get together‘s and getting all the family together her and my uncle were the glue that kept us together aunt Doris K you will surely be missed and love you with all my heart Rest in peace
Words can't begin to express the sadness I feel in hearing of Doris Kay's passing. When Tom and I were newly married, she was my sounding board for me to share some hard things I had gone through growing up.  And all through the years, she's been a friend to me as well as so many others. Always there with a hug, encouragement and orneriness. I will miss you Doris Kay
My deepest condolences to the entire family during your time of loss.   I went to school with Kevin and we were in OWE together.   My very first job was working at Brownies Restaurant and it was a pleasure to know and work with Doris during that time.  I loved her the minute I met her!!    The last paragraph of the obituary is spot on......she was wise, sassy, very hard working, big hearted and tiny but mighty!!   May you rest in peace sweet Doris.  Love you Kevin.   I'm praying for you.
Aunt KK  if you only knew the impact that you had on everyone you came in contact with even people you never knew as you may have met for the first time they sure remembered you and always left as a friend because of your love and wisdom that poured out of you you never knew a stranger as that friend became part of our family your arms and your heart was always wide open and you always had room for even more your love was endless ! You will and are missed dearly as you were in church today! They sang a song “THERE AIN’T NO GRAVE GONNA HOLD THIS BODY DOWN” that made me think of you bc I know the fighter you were!
