Background
Our Mother is a free-spirited, beautiful Soul, and has made her Transition to Spirit. She believed that life should be enjoyed, despite it's tribulations. She wished to have her life celebrated, when she finally passed on, with her closest loved ones. She wanted a "party" so to speak, and not a traditional, "all black" funeral service.
We have decided, with Mom's wishes on our hearts, to plan a Memorial Celebration where everyone wears something purple, her favorite color, in her honor (examples would be a purple hat, scarf, ribbon, pin, etc.). Guests would enter into a beautifully decorated venue, with a tranquil, welcoming presence, as us Children, and her Siblings begin sharing our deepest thoughts and treasured memories. We would then transition with some of her favorite party appetizers and famous recipes, while playing some of her favorite music, and celebrating her Legacy, "Mama Dee" style.

We appreciate any amount of donation, because any consideration at all is helpful enough. We are happy for loved ones to join us, and we look forward to you celebrating our "Pretty Lady" with us.
