Doreen was a dear friend. I so enjoyed and miss our talks and walks together. I feel honored to have been her friend.

I felt honored to be a friend to Doreen and so grateful that she shared life with me. I didn’t feel worthy. I held her in high esteem and wished I had her constant and faithful beliefs about life. I am thankful that she welcomed me in.

She never failed to surprise me -“ I turned up Tom Petty full blast and danced.”

She worked so hard to support Pat.

Her artwork came directly from her soul. I fondly remember taking a drawing class with her. She could easily have been the teacher.

I remember her working so hard to make the family the Christmas cookies they requested.

She helped me have peace about what home to buy. “ You will just KNOW “.

Love to all the family-

Kim

Doreen demonstrated a quiet trust and dignity in her walk with the Lord. One could always be honest about their struggles without the fear of being judged. Above all else she deeply loved her Lord and her family.
Pat we watched the Memorial with tears in our eye's and prayers from our hearts for you and your family. I feel we missed out not knowing  Doreen better.

Rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior Doreen. You were a beautiful soul. My deepest condolences to her family and all who had the privilege to love her. Love your cousin Gina.
Doreen was my cousin. I always appreciated and admired how she choose to raise her children immersed in reading and nature. I only wish we could have spent more time together. She passed on her compassion and love of family to her children, nothing could be better. Peace and love to everyone who is mourning her loss today. She is face to face with her Heavenly Father glowing with wisdom and expanding with love now. She will be with you in spirit always. Love, Your cousin, Denise Garon-Huey
I met Doreen and Pat “ way back” in the mid 70’s.   I remember Doreen as a beautiful soul, always encouraging, a love for life and for Pat.   Doreen always wanted children and it blessed me to read of her children and grandchildren.  I remember some of her paintings and how she found solace in the outdoors.  Hold on to your love and memories.  I wish you Peace.

My deepest sympathies to the entire family and friends. We have lost a talented soul.
I was so sorry to hear about Doreen's passing. My prayers are for Pat and all of her family and church family and present friends.  I remember Doreen as a sweet and gentle woman. The last time that I remember seeing her was after the birth of her eldest daughter. Looking forward to seeing Doreen at the throne!

RIP my sweet cousin Doreen. Although we have not spent time together since highschool , we always had such fun and many laughs when we spent time together. I will always remember your beauty and sweet smile. Until we meet again may God hold you in the hollow of his hand and give comfort to your precious family.

Hugs Always always ,

Love,

Debbie

Doreen brought so much love, light, and beauty and the world.  I grew up spending a lot of time in the Jensen household and had many meals at the Jensen table.  She grew up in such a loving home filled with good food, art, dancing, camping, adventures, and family fun!  Lots of laughter in their home.  Some of my best memories growing up were with the Jensen family.  Doreen took all that love she grew up with and poured it into her family, friends, and art!  She was the most popular girl I knew in school, not just because of her beauty — also her artistic talents and her love and kindness to others.  Her faith journey had a huge impact on my own faith journey, and I will forever be grateful for the inspiring me.

Doreen has left behind so many treasures for all who knew her.  She was unique and authentic and a beautiful person in every way there is to be beautiful.

My heart is with Doreen’s family, sending love and prayers.

We are so grateful that Doreen was part of our life and journey for a few years. She had a quiet, wise presence that one felt when sharing a long conversation with her over coffee or in short conversations after worship.
I can still remember her joy when we visited her beautiful little home in Marshall for the first time.

Our deepest condolences to every member of her family. We know you have all passed through so much in these last few months and years as you faced the loss of a dear wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. It is our prayer that this will make even stronger your family ties as you walk this path of grief…and yet hope together.
