Miss Dora Vonnell Thigpen, age 84 of Vidalia, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 in Oxley Park Health and Rehabilitation in Lyons after an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County, living in Atlanta most of her life where she was employed with Kemper Insurance Company and Macy’s Department Store.
