Don's obituary

Donald Leon Wise, 72, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on October 23 at his home in Springtown, TX .  Known to his friends as "Don",  he was a local business man in the Permian Basin for 40 years.  He provided materials for building and construction as well as the oil industry.  He supported many programs in the Permian Basin, provided playground turf, and sat on the board of a local theater company.  Don moved to Odessa with his family at the age of two, and that is where he completed his education.  Don played tuba in the Odessa High School Band, and attended Odessa College.  Don married his first wife, Brenda Van Winkle, in February of 1972.  They lived in Greenwood and raised their daughter Michelle.  Brenda passed away after a long illness in 1999.  In 2006 Don met Pamela Taylor of Fort Worth, TX.  They married in 2008 and shared a wonderful 14 years of marriage together.

Don is survived by his wife Pamela; daughter Michelle Stillman; sister Judith Shields and husband Gary Shields; step-daughters Diana Frame and Stephanie Densk; grandchildren Jordan Johnson, Jaron Stillman, Jakson Stillman, Emersyn Densk, Sadie Densk, Elias Frame, Finn Frame, and Haylee Frame; and great-grand children Hunter Johnson, Jensen Johnson, and Ava Johnson.  Don is preceded in death by his parents Ballard and Billie Wise, sister Mona Taylor, and his first wife Brenda Wise.
