We met Don through our employment at Farmers Insurance. We first met at the office in Austin, Texas where we both started. But our paths crossed many times throughout the years as we both transferred many times to new offices, and/or we'd run into each other traveling for the company. Don was a great guy and awesome co-worker/friend, and clearly a wonderful and beloved family man. It is so sad to hear he passed so early. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Sturm family and extended family. And especially Preston and Lauren.

Don will be missed. He was a friend with a good soul and a kind heart!

We are so sorry for your loss.  May he rest in piece in the eternal glory of God.

Love

The Oswalds, Kevin , Nancy, and family.

Within the first 5 minutes of a person meeting Don they would know two things: Don loved his family and he was from Hugo, Texas

I'm terribly sorry to hear such devastating news. He was just short of his Beddian Birthday (when someone turns the same age as the year they're born). Oddly enough, I was born in Aug of 62, so this death really struck me. My prayers and thoughts to his family.

I remember Don as the tall handsome young man who came to our Sunday School Class.

We would fill Coke drinks during the first half of Texas Longhorn home games, and then get to watch the last half of the game for free.

My condolences to Don's family. I first met Don when attending Concordia Lutheran College.   We were both on the basketball team.  On some weekends we'd go out to his family's property and cut mesquite trees for BBQ firewood.  We'd sell it to BBQ restaurants to make a little spending money.
So sorry for your loss. Praying 🙏 for you all. Sincerely Mrs.David Martinez
So sorry to hear about Don.  He was a special person.  I worked with him at Farmers Insurance.  My mother also worked there and Don was so kind to her. Cherish your memories of him and remember how much he loved you all.

Sturm Family,  we are so very sorry for your loss.  Dad so appreciated Don’s work ethic and enjoyed having him in the store.

We pray you will find strength and peace during this difficult time.

So sorry for your  loss.  I remember Don and Mike working at my dad’s grocery store. They had great work ethics and we will always remember their charm and kindness!  May God give the family comfort and peace.
