Background
Don battled Alzheimer's for nearly 10 years. He was resilient in fighting this losing battle. He left a great example for all who knew and supported him to always fight until the end. Don and his family used Texas Alzheimer's as resources during this 10 year span. Don helped maintain Hutto Lutheran Cemetery growing up, his father is buried there and Don will also have a headstone there to to be memorialized next to his dad. You will see both the Hutto Lutheran Cemetery Fund as well as Texas Alzheimer's donations accepted in lieu of flowers for these reasons.
