Dolores's obituary

Mrs. Dolores (Dee) Mondoro Langlois Thigpen age 84 of Twin Gates Lane Blairsville passed away peacefully on Thursday February 13, 2020 in the N.E. GA. Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Thigpen was born on Nov. 23, 1935 in Plainfield, NJ., the daughter of the late Michael Mondoro and the late Mary Cerrato Mondoro. Dolores always had a passion for helping children. She was a great cook and a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dolores was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blairsville.

Surviving Mrs. Thigpen are her loving husband and best friend, Ken Thigpen of Blairsville, four children, Kathleen and Jesse Trout of Simpsonville, SC., Mary Harvey of Titusville, FL., Sandra and Brian Solger of Chipley, FL., William Langlois of Marion, IL., stepchildren include, Janet and Norris Clouse of Franklin, NC., Debra Thigpen of Murphy, Mark and Libby Thigpen of Murphy, Mike and Bonnie Thigpen of CA., one brother, Anthony Mondoro of NJ., six grandchildren, Michael Trout, Daniel Trout, Gary Davis, Jennifer Harvey, Ethan Solger and Erin Solger, two great grandchildren, Noah Davis and Addison Solger, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 15, 2020 at 4:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with Rev. Fred Lodge officiating. In lieu of flowers if you wish the family requests that donations may be made to the Gideons International or to the American Cancer Society in Dolores’ memory. The family will meet with friends following the services.
