Hello, Dee worked with my parents at the Welcome Inn restaurant on 171. I was the same age as Bill. And played dolls with Mary. My condolences to you, I always thought about your family. Judy (Pawl) Danalewich

Dolores was a second mother to me. As my Mom's best friend we saw her quite frequently and her children were all brothers and sisters to me . I remember all our camping trips to Lilly Cache our trip to Six Flags over St. Louis and all our movies at the Rialto theater she and my Mom took us to. And of course her extremely wonderful cakes. I REALLY wish she would have shared that frosting recipe! But two memories really stick in my mind. When I was really little (still in a crib) Dolores was watching my sister Laura and I. I wasn't feeling well and I remember Dolores sitting in the chair next to the crib and holding my hand as I fell asleep. I knew all would be well. Forty years later, my Dad was dying and she held my hand as we had to disconnect his life support. At the most heartbreaking time in my life she was there holding my hand as I cried and yet I new eventually all would be well. I will love you forever Dolores. Enjoy that cup of coffee I know you are sharing with my Mom and Dad!
