It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Rodecker, a devoted mother, cherished sister, dedicated educator, and insightful writer. Diane passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 26, 2025.

Born in Washington D.C. on November 28, 1943, to Commander Frank George (US Navy) and Stella George, Diane's early life was shaped by the experiences of a military family. She and her sister, Vicki, spent their formative years in Long Beach, …
