I was lucky enough to have Devyn as my student. He was a sweet and kind young man who treated those around him with respect. I was saddened to hear of his passing but wasn’t surprised that he was an organ donor; always thinking of others. My thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends.

Devyn was one of the hardest workers I knew and that’s why I admired him so much as my friend. I knew I could trust him working any job I referred him too because he worked his ass off and knew when to put the job before messing around with friends. He’s inspired me throughout the years of knowing him to be a little more Independent and that if you really want something done then you get it done yourself. I’ll forever remember picking Devyn up after class or work to hang out, it always brightened my day because there was never a negative moment with that kid he always had a big grin on his face and always made sure you had one on too. My heart goes out to his family for their loss of this amazing young man. I love you Devyn this still doesn’t feel real man❤️

We got to know Devyn through our granddaughter, Serenity. Devyn was such a quiet, sweet and courteous young man. We love how Devyn would take the time to sit and talk to Serenity's great grandfather every time they came to the house. There were other plans for Devyn, which is evident by his passing, but he is leaving his mark on those left behind to mourn his loss. The fact that he chose to be an organ donor for someone so young shows what kind of man he was. Devyn will surely be missed. When we heard of Devyn's car accident, Serenity's grandpa said "Dad knew that Devyn was coming, so they will have plenty of time to sit and talk now". Our deepest condolences to the entire family.
