On Wednesday, January 8, 2020 Derrick W. Wise, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 50 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Derrick was born on March 17th, 1969 to Alan and Becky (Geer) Wise in Meadville, PA.

Derrick was a graduate of Maplewood High School, class of 1987 and had a lifelong passion for construction and building things. Derrick received his degree in Construction Project Management and spent many years building commercial buildings, and recently started restoring them in the South East. On May 16, 2015 Derrick married his wife Tracy Swartz in Gatlinburg, TN.

Derrick had a passion for knowledge, and would often recant random trivia facts to all who would listen. While he traveled a lot for work he would spend his hours driving listening to various books. He also loved to cook, and was always up for trying new ways to cook things.

Derrick is survived by his Wife, Tracy Wise of Mooresville, NC his Daughter Ashley Endy of Charlotte NC, Son-in-law Gregory Endy also of Charlotte NC and Granddaughter, Amelia Endy. He also leaves behind many family and friends who will miss him very much.

Derrick is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and cousins Joshua and Michelle Ehrhart.
