Dear Lisa and Mike, 

I am so sorry you lost your baby boy! I can't imagine the pain you are going through. It's unbearable for me to even think about.  I know there's nothing I can do to ease your pain. All I know is whenever I am in pain, I pray to God. He helps me! I feel his love and know, eventually everything will get easier. There will always be the hole, but God helps to fill it. I believe that Derek is resting now, and you will see him again, of that, I am sure. I am not a religious woman, but I believe in God. I know he's there! He knows you're in pain and loves you very much, so please reach out to Him. My deepest condolences and prayers for you and your family! Hang in there Marquel. Hugs to you! Take care of yourself and your mom. Together you will make it through! Love to all!

Derek, 

I’m missing you so much! It really doesn’t get any easier. I will forever miss you and miss hearing your voices. I went to call you the other day and just before I hit the dial button, I realized that I can’t do that, so instead I had a Royal meltdown.  Instead, I went and held your ashes and talked to you. I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SON!
