We share so many fond and vivid memories of dinners, hikes and poodle fun together. We had the immense honor and joy of sharing a BB King concert with you and Dennis on your first date. In our minds and hearts, we see Dennis' perpetual smile and feel the warmth of his unwavering friendship.  Sending love to you, Holly.
Dennis flew all at the way to Florida to celebrate our marriage in November of 1989. Dennis and Bruce met through a mutual love of ham radio. Our wedding vows were planned to coincide with the setting sun, but one of the officiants got lost. While the sun sank lower and lower and guests mingled and tapped their feet, Dennis and Bruce kept watching the entryway to the Ringling Mansion for a sign of the rabbi. Just when it seemed we'd have to go ahead without one of our men of God, Dennis noticed a disheveled VW Bug driving away from the mansion. Our rabbi! In his Sunday best, Dennis ran like mad to catch our rabbi and steer him back to the venue. Someone grabbed me from the anteroom where I'd waited (and waited!) and another led Bruce to the altar/hoopa/patio. Dennis dusted off the rabbi and directed him to join our priest in joining us in holy matrimony. We missed saying our vows to the setting sun, but bathed in the crimson afterglow of a tropical sunset as though it were custom crafted to launch us in our now 35-year life together. Dennis saved our wedding day, and we always remember that grand and dusty gesture with so much love.
Married to Dennis made everyday FUN. I loved this man so much.
