I knew Dennis since high school. Was a distant neighbor in Newcastle then I moved to South Carolina ,still visited Dennis when in town. He was a good man with a big heart.

Dennis came into our lives through ham radio in 1974.  For decades he and Jimmy enjoyed all sorts of electronic gadgetry and house projects.  True joy came into Dennis's life when he met Holly.  Their sweet relationship warmed our hearts.  Our friendship continued even after Perkins family move to Mississippi.  The highlight of Jimmy's last holiday was Sacramento supper with Dennis and Holly.  We are blessed to have such dear folks in our lives. Dennis and Holly epitomized lives well lived.

My sincerest condolences. Although I had not seen Dennis in many years I will always remember the family gatherings  during our childhood..Your cousin from Ohio....George
Rest in peace cousin Dennis, I have several wonderful memories of when we were children. I never did find out are grandparents real names. Even though we never met Holly,  Dennis always spoke lovingly of you. My sympathy on your loss.

I am blessed to have met and known Dennis for the past I 43 years. We  met while we both worked for the City of Foster City.  I was a 23 year young buck maintenance worker and Dennis was a 33 year old shining star Fire Captain. Dennis was one of the first people to befriend me. His kindness and friendship meant a lot. Dennis loved to fly his plane and he took me and my 3 children on their first plane ride makinga lifetime memory. Dennis and I shared our Christian faith and we attended church together a few times. There is no doubt Dennis is resting in peace in heaven. My prayers and thoughts will continue for Holly and his daughter.
A family friend always. I remember waiting at the airport for Dennis to show up, as an avid pilot you never knew what he was going to pull up in. When my dad said “that’s the one and pulled up next to the plane my jaw dropped.” Dennis had showed up in the biggest plane I’d ever seen. We got to go on a great ride over the Rockies. Thank you Dennis for always being a great friend to our family.

Dennis took me under his wing when I was a young punk new employee, constantly getting in to trouble. He attempted to steer me in the right direction no matter how hard I refused. He protected me. I very much enjoyed our flight to the Northern CA coast to go abalone diving. He will be missed!
