I was saddened when I heard the news of Dennis's passing.  Cousin Dennis was very sweet to me as a child.  Dennis was about 14 years older than me but he never acted like I was a nuisance.   Although he did have me try to play his tuba. It was bigger than me and got a kick out of  it.  My condolences to Lynn and family.

A special thank you from the Amyloidosis Research Consortium. We are so sorry for your loss.

Linda and I were so sorry to hear of Dennis’ passing.Dennis will always be remembered as a very kind neighbor and friend with a great sense of humor and wit ..may he rest in peace .

Sincerely,

Peter and Linda Figueira

Dennis and I grew up together.  We always got together at family get togethers.   We would leave the rest of the family and go for walks.  I thought of him as my younger brother rather than my cousin. He had an unusual sense of humor that I liked    He sent me a birthday card my first year on my own.  It said I had two of the nicest legs  He knew because he had counted them.
Since we will not be able to attend the memorial for Dennis I want to send you and your family hugs and love. Will miss  the card games, Rummikub, theater and dinners with him although he will always be with us. Many great memories. Love you all.
Every time I drive by the childhood home of Dennis, I think of him. He was always kind to everyone. Rest in peace.
My heartfelt sympathy and condolences for this deep loss to all who knew Dennis. I wish the best for his family and all his loved ones.  I worked with Dennis at Walt Disney World, and he was a pleasure to work with, talk to, and learn from.  He was clever, witty, smart and always a gentleman and a professional at the highest level. He provided a lot of value when he was at Walt Disney World, and provided many great memories for me to recall.  I know he will be missed by many.
My sincere  condolences to the Laube family.  Dennis sat in the cubicle across from me at Disney for a number of years.  I remember how we had our cup of coffee first thing in the morning and would discuss both work and home projects we had done or planning to do.  Home projects he always included Lynn as they would do them as a team.  I will never forget his smile and laugh that was always welcome with our data architecture team.  He was a very kind-hearted and task-oriented man.  It was such a privilege knowing him.
I have typed two condolences and I don't think either was posted.    Lynn I am so happy you were there for Dennis.  We were cousins but felt like brother/sister instead.   He told me about his heart condition but he made it sound like it was just something he would live with.   You and your family will be in my prayers.

I want to send my sincere deep condolences to dear Lynn, Michael and Ben.

I was an exchange student in Laube family in 1999-2000 and remember Dennis for his kindness, support, funny jokes, wisdom, how he always took time to explain me the picularities  of American culture, history, to help me with homework, he was very generous and fair. Not even once for the whole year I felt that I’m a stranger at their family.  Of course, Lynn was the main  engine but Dennis was so supportive of her, he loved Lynn so much and it was very noticeable in everything he did.

Dear Lynn, Dennis was a connection for us all these years, we kept in touch, I hope we will find ways to keep in touch after we lost Dennis. He was a great person and I just hope that you will stay strong.  I’ve read that Michael is expecting a baby, death and life are always so close. But there is a reason to keep going, enjoy your life and stay healthy and happy and I’m sure that what Dennis would want you to be.

I will miss Dennis and Dennis’s yearly newsletters.

Sending you my hugs 😔😢😭

We are so sorry for your loss. I worked with Dennis throughout the years at AT&T and Disney. I will never forget his dry sense of humor and smart wit.
So sorry to read of Dennis’s passing. Wishing you and your family the best during this time
