Dennis and I were fellow musicians on piano and keys in high school and knew each other well.  I actually bought my first keyboard from him and hung with him at his house a few times.  Really cool guy, quite talented.  So glad to have found him again even though it’s been years, and like time does, has taken away the opportunity for him and I to connect again.  I wish him and his his family and kids well!
He was a great friend to our family and had so much love for our sons! We all have such wonderful memories of our years spent in friendship. We will miss his gentle, generous and loving heart. RIP Dennis! —Pat and Laurie Hurley
He loved his children greatly and were so proud of their accomplishments, big and small. Although no longer here physically, I know he will able to see everything his children have yet to accomplish in life. Thank you, Dennis, for giving me my best friend, Tristan, and helping raise such an incredible man. You will be missed greatly.

Between 1975 and 1978, I was Dennis's youth pastor at Community Presbyterian Church. After meetings on Wednesday evenings, we'd inevitably play a few games of ping pong. He kept me working hard to keep up with him. His wonderful talent on the piano was a true gift. I appreciated the nice, fun, warm, talented guy he was and he was growing into. I would have enjoyed a whole room full of guys like Dennis!

Dennis and I skateboarded to school a lot. We played ping pong at the Presbyterian church on Poli. He was an excellent keyboard player and a smart kid. I will miss him.
