Debra Lynn (Herbert) Rumpza, formerly of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep Friday, September 24th in Lakeland, Florida.
Debbie was born December 31st, 1965 in Châteauroux, France to Elizabeth and Max Herbert. She was a military brat before her family settled in Lafayette in 1974. Debbie graduated from Jeff High School in 1984 and served in the Army before attending Purdue. She married Jeffrey Scott Rumpza in 1993, and while they later divorced, they …
