I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Debbie at bowling. My sincere condolences to Robbie and family.  She was a beautiful woman and person who will be greatly missed but will stay forever in my heart and prayers extended to her family.

I knew Debbie from 40 years ago, and am so grateful to have had her in our lives.

I hired Debbie to be a para-pro in our special day class in the Ontario school district in 1986. I observed her with the children during her interview and there was no question about her being the best candidate. Debbie and I worked together for two years before I moved away to Arizona. She was amazing with the children by loving them, and helping them learn.

My husband, Curt, and I spent a lot of time with the young Motts family outside of school. They taught us how to be really cool parents and were our only friends as transplants from Seattle.

We visited only once since then. We had messaged each other in recent years- hoping to make a visit to Idaho. I’m sad it never worked out.

Debbie touched my life in beautiful ways and I will honor her life and cherish my memories. ❤️
