Rob, Tawnie, Ryan and Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Debbie’s passing. She was such a loving and kind person. From the day I met Debbie and Rob they were welcoming and made me feel like family. Debbie always had a beautiful smile and the cutest laugh. I loved their family dynamics and saw how that was so important to her.
My first time to Glamis was camping in a tent in 1990. She was so welcoming and opened their camper bathroom/shower to me. She could tell all this dirt camping was foreign to me and gave a laugh saying it’ll be ok. I always remember that trip and the awe of the sand dunes, which I saw was a happy place for their family and friends. I was impressed how Deb cooked up those eggs and lil smokies and whole heartedly shared with us.
Over the years there was many happy and sad moments that Debbie & Rob were there for my family. We knew Debbie was also a Christian and that comforted our hearts, as she endured so much over the years with her own health. Debbie had a strong faith that God would not give her more than she could handle.
I looked up to Debbie and was always interested in the stories I heard of when Debbie & Rob met, Russell Pl adventures and many other wonderful experiences they shared together with family and friends.
Debbie & Rob managed to come by for my daughter’s baby shower before going to an Eagles concert in Devore in late 90’s. She gave a pink/white pair of precious moments leather booties with pink chiffon ribbons that I still have and will pass down someday. I remember Debbie smiling and saying they were so cute she had to get them. She always managed to make time for others with their constant busy schedule.
Debbie was also extremely proud of Tawnie and Ryan and their many accomplishments over the years. Seeing her beam with pride of both kids getting married, seeing the surprise renewal of Deb & Rob’s wedding vows, and the funny stories they had of their grandchildren.
My kids and I will always have our last memories together when Debbie & Rob made time to visit us in Colorado for a few days in their RV in 2020. Sitting around the dinner table and having my son make dinner for them was a nice memory of great conversation, laughs and bantering that we will cherish.
When I think of Debbie, I smile because I know we will see her again in Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Much Love, Donna, Austin & Brittney
