It was such a joy to have grown up with Deanna and enjoy her friendship all through elementary and high school. She was a good girl, always sweet and grew into an incredible woman. Sorry that we lost touch along the way but had the pleasure of getting to know her a bit in more recent times through reunions and a couple of "mini reunions" at 44 Degrees North. I will forever treasure all our messages back and forth during her final months on Earth and especially a telephone conversation I had with her. She is so missed.
Deanna always seem to have a smile or kind comment. I had a great vacation in Tennessee with her a few years back. Good memories! We laughed a lot and that is a nice memory I have of her.
My prayers and thoughts are with JT and all of her family and friends.
I knew Deanna a lot of years ago. She was a wonderful person then and I thought of her often, each time I passed by the mobile home park where she lived at the time. My deepest condolences to the family, especially to her nephew, Michael Grant, who was my best friend in high school and her two sisters whom I knew, Joyce (Mike's Mom) and Rona (a dear friend from my high school days).
I only knew Deanna through Janet’s stories and the devotionals she emailed when she was pastoring. I was blessed by her thoughts, her sense of humor and her commitment to God. My condolences to her family and friends. May God comfort you.
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. -Psalm 116:15.
Aunt Dea your heavenly home is your reward but the emptiness in our hearts and lives with your passing into that home will be felt until we are reunited. I just want to say you were the coolest aunty ever and we shared so many craft ideas and interests over the years, I will never forget our last two visits and the joy you continued to pour out even in the saddest of times. Love you forever.-Linisa Evonne
JT, so sorry to hear of Deanna's passing. She is at peace now. We always enjoyed the cards that she made and sent. I was always in awe of how creative she could be with them. Please know, that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
