David Brooks Winnett of Cle Elum, WA, known affectionately as Dave, passed away on July 26, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on September 16, 1943, in Bremerton, WA, he grew up in nearby Seattle and graduated from Blanchet High School in 1961. Shortly thereafter, Dave embarked on a distinguished career in the United States Air Force, enlisting in June 1961 and retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant in March 1988. His military tenure …
