My wife was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at age 62. She had severe calf pain, muscle pain, tremors, slurred speech, frequent falls, loss of balance, and difficulty getting up from a sitting position. She was put on Sinemet for 6 months, and then Siferol was introduced and replaced the Sinemet. Neither standard treatment like B1 and high dose B12 did very little for her. We tried different supplements that didn't work, so last August, our family doctor started her on the PD-5 protocol—the best decision ever! 2 months into treatment she improved dramatically. At the end of the full treatment course, the disease is totally under control. Cases of muscle weakness, constant twitches and tremors eased. My wife has resumed her daily activities. Our joy was seeing you and Nitsa married.  You were a  great sport in wearing your hilo lei the whole reception. You made her very happy, which in turn made us happy.   You were a special soul.

We will always remember Dave’s cheerful way of greeting the world. He was always happy to see us and always ready to chat and hear the news. He was a wonderful, generous person and ready to help however he could. I am glad he is out of pain and suffering and is now at peace, but we’re so sad to see him go. I’ll not forget the last time we saw him, which was only maybe a week or two before he passed ….he was walking with you, Nitsa, down the street - I was so shocked because he was walking and looked just like he always used to! He smiled and waved to us in our car, blowing kisses and yelling “we miss youuuu!!” We miss you too Dave…

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I remember Dave as someone who was genuinely interested in others, and always ready with a smile. He was also always there for Nitsa in all sorts of ways. My condolences to Nitsa and the entire family.
