A life-long learner with an infectious hunger for knowledge, David was fascinated with creation be it earth, sky or sea. His hobbies included astronomy, geology, fossil hunting, sailing, classical music, photography, lapidary, stained glass, and bird watching. In each field of study he accrued as much knowledge as he possibly could, and then taught those around him.
