Dad always loved Crane Beach …
Dad always loved Crane Beach with our family! And he’s wearing his shirt for one of his favorite races “Beach to Beacon” ❤️❤️
We are deeply saddened by David's sudden passing. He shared many memories with us in the workplace, overseas travels, local church and community events. He is a compatriot of our motherland. We will always miss him and remember him.
We are so sorry for your loss of beloved Dr. Sun, our deepest condolences! We will always remember his bright smile and cheerful & positive spirit around people !

Duan & Sen Lee
2009, Mount Snow, Taiwan
David loves Taiwan especially the green mountain ridges. He’s thoughtful, well prepared and willing to take challenges. We went to 武陵農場 to trek Mount Snow. It’s a tough task for seniors: summit 3886 m, many rocky and steep terrains. For the first 3000 m, we talked along the way. Soon after, we felt breathless. We realized we needed to stop talking. The bottoms of Sen’s boots fell off. David was the only one who had a thin and strong string to tie the boot bottoms back. To this day, Sen believes David’s thoughtfulness saves his legs.

美纪, I was very sorry to hear about the passing of 孫芳德, our EE64 classmate. I know how close you were, and I can only imagine how much you are hurting right now.

One thing I have to mention here. 芳德兄 lent me a record album: Beethoven's Nine Symphonies (conducted by Toscanini) while we were in high school. The music has exerted profound influence on me since then.

芳德 was a wonderful person, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to know him. He will be deeply missed by me and by all who knew him.

Please accept my deepest condolences during this time of sorrow.

With love,

Mark Lin (林幸峰)

Another impressive thing about David: He almost never miss any FAPA MA chapter monthly outreach activities at Harvard Square for more than ten years, rain or shine.
Among our fond memories of David: love of banana, arriving extremely early at airport, eager to help with others' luggage in our group trips, daily serious jogging and running in Marathon.

Dear Maggie, Jennifer, Christina & Mark,

Although we know words offer small comfort in your hour of sorrow, we do wish to express our sincere sympathy to you on the loss of your beloved husband and father.

with deepest sympathy,

Mei & tom Tsai
