David Thurman Smoot, known to many as “Dave Saint” from his career in radio and television, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at home. He was 69 years old. Born on December 11, 1955, in Peoria, Illinois, David's early entertainment career took him from New York to Dallas, Tampa, and eventually to Chicago.
