Thank you to everyone for your support during this difficult time. We would love for you to post your favorite photos and/or stories about Bob on the memories tab of this memorial website.
Since we can't all get together in-person currently, we hope that this site can be a place for us to come together to remember Bob, to share memories and support each other.

Obituary

David “Bob” Robert Thompson, 78, of Kitrell NC and formerly of Comfort, WV passed away at 10:00 am on November 13, 2021, at Durham Regional Hospital, NC, after a battle with a long time illness.

Bob was born on June 30, 1943, to Dolly Vivian Estep Thompson and Herbert Earl Thompson, in Madison, Boone, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, two of his sisters: Wanda Diane Thompson Keffer and Katherine Kay Thompson …
