David L. Mather (Dave), 71 of Springfield Virginia, unexpectedly passed away on September 3rd, 2021. He
passed away at home in his beloved chair. Dave was born in Bloomington Indiana to
Glen and Diamond Mather. He received his degree in Journalism, with a minor in English, from Indiana
University in 1982. He went on to work for different newspapers in both Indiana and Virginia. Dave
married Elizabeth Mather (E.A.), after meeting each other at the …
