David's obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of David Keith Palmer Sr., who was born on December 25th, 1952, and left us on December 17th, 2024. Known for his love of life, his passion for music, and his enduring spirit, David leaves behind a legacy of perseverance and unwavering commitment to his dreams.

David's interests were as varied as they were deep. As a consummate fan of literature, he derived immense pleasure from the works of Stephen King. His passion for music was extensive, his favorites being the likes of Jean-Luc Ponty, George Duke, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, and Frank Zapp. He was a fervent lover of television, regularly tuning into shows such as The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Breaking Bad. His love for the silver screen was equally evident in his unwavering fondness for Good Fellows.

Not just an observer of culture, David was also an active participant in sports, showing particular support for the Steelers and the Bucks. He loved to watch NFL games and was a dedicated follower of The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. He had a profound admiration for war movies. His recreational activities were reflective of his adventurous spirit and included hunting, fishing, reading, and playing the drums.

David's life involved avid exploration of the world. His favorite vacation spots were the polarizing yet equally enchanting landscapes of Iceland and Italy. But beyond his passions, David was a man of accomplishment. He was a licensed professional respiratory therapist, and an accomplished drummer in various local bands. He also held a unique profession as a high-rise window washer. His legacy encourages us all to keep fighting for our dreams, regardless of age.

David will be missed immensely but will forever be remembered for his love and vast knowledge of music. His tenacity and zest for life will continue to inspire everyone who knew him. Rest in peace, David. Your memory lives on.
