Mr. David Hochstetler, USAR, age 75, of Mt. Vernon, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022, near his home from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Iowa City, Iowa, grew up Millersburg, Ohio, and moved to Sarasota, Florida and enlisted in the U.S. Army. He retired after twenty years as First Sergeant, and served one tour of duty in Vietnam in Special Forces, Green Beret. He was stationed in Korea, Okinawa, and Germany, …
