I am so sorry to hear of David’s passing.

I met David at Snap Fitness after battling with long covid and having horrible anxiety I prayed for God to send me a workout buddy.

I used to laugh and tell David “tag, you’re it. God picked you.”

Both of us hated cardio and found we could get on a treadmill or stair climber and talk about Jesus the whole time and before long both of us realized time was up and we had accomplished our goals.

David loved to talk about his cars, his beautiful wife and his children and grandchildren.

Both of us being cancer survivors just found a connection most can’t relate to.

I remember David one day thinking surely I must be like most women and he told me after I prayed over him “don’t ever let anyone tell you that you aren’t the real deal because you are.”  I was a Jesus girl and he gave me permission to be who I was. He got an earful of Jesus the entire time and was so patient with my passion and loved talking about Jesus with me.

I am so thankful God sent him to me at that season in my life.

David knew my heart for Jesus and how set apart I really was and he welcomed me to the gym like he had known me forever and before long I got my confidence and health back.

He edified his sister in Christ in obedience to God.

As my brother and friend he will be greatly missed we need more men like David in this world.

I know God was pleased with him as a husband, father, grandfather and friend/brother to me and I am so thankful to have known him for the last few years as he truly blessed my life in many ways.

I am praying for his wife and family and I rejoice with you all that He is with Jesus and we will see him soon.

Isaiah 57:1

Much love in Christ, Jennifer Campbell

I didn’t know David that well. However, what I didn’t know about him is that he loved his family. He adores you and you have some of the best memories. I know that you’ll miss him, but he prepared well. I love you, sweet friend.
“ Jacque ….. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It was a joy to work in the presence  of David .  I will never forget the times we shared in the oilfield .  Lots of great memories. Mark and Connie Roark
